One thing that I don't really see mentioned much anywhere is how big that head band actually is. I wanted to buy these, and almost pulled the trigger online. Fortunately, I made the decision to take the time and visit a store to demo first. They didn't even fit me, they were so loose and just turning my head back and fourth slowly dislodged them. It's the first time I've ever had that happen with a headphone.

Ended up with the Arya instead.

Yeah, I could've mentioned that I'm a big guy with a head to match and the first notch is as far as I'd need to go. Someone with a giant head would likely be very happy about this, but people with smaller ones might have issues. I can't really use the Ananda since they don't swivel and the pads put pressure behind my ears and don't seal in front.

Sorry my dude, that was not a shot at your review at all. Thought it was very informative.

When I started looking at the XS, a lot of reviews never mentioned how big they were (maybe this is just a 'known' thing in the community). People mention the headband a lot, but it's mostly about comfort. Imagine my surprise when I put those bad boys on haha. maybe other than the sundara, I assume it's mostly just a hifiman thing, with those big old egg cans.

No worries, I didn't take it as such. Just realized that it is something worth mentioning. In general I don't mention comfort and build much since I have no idea what is the Harman target equivalent for comfort and very rarely do I have any issues worth mentioning anyway so I'm stuck in an extremely subjective point of view.
