ive been looking into buying an external dac for my samsung s20 fe 5g for a long time and even tried out a few but they all said device not supported and i wanted to know before buying another usb dongle if it would work

Hi, had the same issue when I bought a dongle dac for my Samsung S10.

Did you try to clear the cache in the usb settings? And unlocked the "dev tools"?

(french here, not sure about the english words in the menu)

Other DACs like the dragonfly cobalt work fine with my S21 FE, pretty sure it'd be the same for an S20 FE

I'm using the $9 Apple dongle for my S20 FE 5G+UAPP. It works great, just had problems on games and when using 16bit output on poweramp. Basically you can hear really loud distortion or clipping whenever low volume sounds are played
