What are some good headphones to look into for playing in a room with drums, guitar, and bass, and keys?

I wear my M50x’s usually, with all the mic’d instruments and cabs playing in it. I find that I can hear the guitar and drums, but usually lose the bass and keys. It all sounds fine in the mix after, but in the room, it’s tough.

That's the task for a sound engineer, real-time mixing is the thing that needs to be done. If you don't hear bass and keys, upmix them on a mixing console.

M50x is a decent headphone for your task (not so much for listening to music, but for monitoring they're OK).

Shure SRH 440, SE215 and Good old Sony 7506. You don't usually get expensive headphones at recording booth due to studio's budget.

Best ones I found for purpose are the etymotic research ER4P or ER4S or equivalent new model. Frequency response was spot on if used for mixing live music.
