Nah it's more like I've demo'd the Empyreans and Liric before at a local shop and it wouldn't be too hard for me to revisit them. I didn't want to spend too much time on them since the listening conditions were really not ideal at the show and would be much better at the shop. The 109 Pro I haven't heard before and it's been pretty hyped so I wanted to try that. But to be honest, I wasn't a big fan of the Empyreans when I heard them, though the Liric is quite a bit better IIRC.

The HEDDPhone was actually attached to FiiO's flagship K9 Pro DAC/amp.
