The Truthear Hexa is my new default recommendation at the sub-$100 price point. It is a nearly perfect purchase at its price, with my sole complaint being the relatively slow bass articulation.

Welp, there goes 80 bux I wasn't planning on spending today.

They're not totally bereft of bass. It's just a little leaner in the mid-bass than something like the Kato or Aria. More than something like the Dioko, which I do find lean. And more sub-bass than the OG Blessing 2.

They are nowhere near a basshead set, but they aren't totally bereft of it either. More mids-forward than bass light I think.

They EQ well, as well, you can add in just a little more bass and this works well.

How does it compare to shuoer s12? Is it worth getting it if already owning s12?

If this had more bass like 10 dB if bass instant buy for me.

is it a big upgrade if you are coming from the aria?
