Welcome to the neverending grind in pursuit of the next ear-full of euphonic bliss!

Don't be surprised when your friends and loved ones start giving you that WTF look as you begin to spout on about transients or the attack and decay of X, Y or Z ... It's normal

Kick back, have fun and enjoy the music!

I'm running schiit hel DAC on my PC. Of the two pairs I really like the CRA+. The sub bass is buttery smooth and deep. The HBB's have better sound seperation and clarity in the highs, but the heavy bass from the CRA+'s make me ok with a little muddiness. Both are good for the sub $30 price range, but I definitely wasn't expecting these to be this good. Now I need to know where to go next? I love heavy bass. Mostly EDM, Metal, and Hip-hop. Just thought I'd share my first venture into IEM's.

I have the original CRA's, the bass is great, but the treble can be muddy at times. It is very good Iem for the price. I upgraded to the Letshuoer S12 which is also V shaped and is a decent upgrade.

I agree with S12's. You can eq the bass really high before it stops being able to handle it and even without eq it has an intense sounding v sound signature. It is the absolute safest second step imo

Welcome to iem collecting. I hope you enjoy the ones you have now and in the future

I don't have an eq setup yet. Mostly just listening to Spotify. I'll definitely check those out. I'm excited! I spent a couple hours just comparing these two last night. It was very enjoyable. Thanks for the help and kind words πŸ™

Nice, in my opinion, the CCA CRA+ are superior to the original. They seem to tame down the highs just enough to make them more enjoyable.

I have QXZ AK6 & AK6 DMX. They are cheap but man it sounded amazing for the price.

Have fun collecting man. I would personally recommend the Tripowin TC-10, underrated set.

I think the TC-10 is outdated in the wake of all the recent well-tuned budget sets.

Maybe so. I’ve tried the new QKZ x HBB, Salnotes Zero, Truthear Zero, Moondrop Chu and Mele though, and the TC-10 is my favorite out of the bunch. It’s probably because I tend to like v-shaped tunings.
