I think they are really good, comfortable, amazing sound and the shells are beautiful in my opinion, one complaint I've heard in videos is the lack of bass but I think they have plenty and you can instantly hear the bass in songs. This post is just to recommend them if you want something with clarity and that is comfortable.

I can see where the lack of bass comments can come from. I realize it's not a good comparison, but going from the Hexa to my Dusk and it's comical how much more bass there is in comparison. The Dusk EQ'd to the normal B2 has more noticeable bass imo as well, which is what this thing gets compared to the most obvi. I listen to some heavy/fast metal (Darko, Spite that kind of thing) so the dusk can get a little bloated imo , especially on fast double bass, and the Hexa handles it better. For 80 bucks it's so fucking good.

How does the b2d compare to the hexa when it comes to layering, imaging, and resolution?

The Dusk blows it out of the water. Everything about the Dusk is just "cleaner" sounding and more refined. It's not like I can't pick out what's going on on the Hexa, but the Dusk makes it easier. Imaging is good as well. I use it for gaming and have no real issues placing things where they are. Haven't really used the Hexa for gaming much yet

Edit: I've used the Hexa a bit and fuck me the tuning is so good to me. I've learned I like hearing every micro detail over a thumpy bass. I don't look at my Dusk the same way. This is more a personal discovery I think then anything but I love these fucking things

I haven't have the fortune to try the B2 and the dusk but I also imagine it having more bass also comes from the better technicalities and such? But that's very good to know, one more reason to buy the hexa. Thanks for your comment

Its been in my cart for a week now, been holding off till more reviews of it to come out

What do you like and dont like about it, or are you still in the honeymoon period where it's hard to pick its flaws?

I think I'm still a little in the honeymoon period but is also because I really like them, the things I like about is the clarity of the sound, you can hear everything in songs and the imaging for games like halo is really good, also they are the most comfortable iems I own and I own Aria, S12, zs10 pro x, blon 01, and the Chus. What I don't like is that the cable feels frail, they get a little quiet I think they would benefit from an amp but I don't own any, and I think that's it and I'm nit picking

What are the biggest differences between the arias and hexa? Been holding off a replacement for my aria till something can compete with it at the same price

Also how are the cables and comfort?

I was deciding between Hexa and S12 but ended grabbing S12 cuz they have next day Amazon shipping while the Hexa took 7-10 days. Ended up liking the S12 but would love to try Hexa one day

S12 are also really good, I own a pair as well and they are amazing but the hexa are more comfortable to me, the S12 in my left ear always starts to slip of no matter what eartips I choose. Also I find the S12 a little fatiguing because of the treble.

At first I couldn’t handle the treble as well, but then after I changed to the stock medium black core white tips, and then push them deep into my ears, like as deep as it goes, soundstage suddenly open up, treble is less harsh and bass is fuller as well. Did you try that?

So given that you have both the hexa and the b2d how would how does the hexa compare to the b2d when it comes to layering, imaging, and resolution?
