Find a FLAC, or at least a very high bitrate copy of Gerudo Valley from the Zelda 30th Anniversary Concert. It can be very hard to find outside of YouTube though, but there are a few websites that are dedicated to preserving that stuff, if you know where to look.
That track is mixed disgustingly well, and has tons of instruments that has fucktons of detail and dynamic range.
The Twilight Princess Medley from that same album is even better, but it's 11 and a half minutes long, so I figured the first would be more readily palatable.

Had gotten the HE400SE first and loved it so much so, that I returned it and got the Sundara instead. Been listening to it 1-2hrs dedicatedly everyday since. Compared to 400SE, the build quality is a definite step up, found the sound stage a bit wider and details are much more prominent imo. Donāt even have to crank up the volume as much and just overall it feels very fast and punchy. I usually listen to alternative (strumbellas, vampire weekend), rock(Credence Clearwater revival, Beatles, led zeppelin), and have recently started with jazz, also Indian classicals(Zakir Hussain, Amjad Ali khan)ā¦sometimes Mozart, Yanni as well. I listen on Apple Hi-Res Lossless.
Alsong with your song suggestions, do also mention which is your favourite part and why and which part of the track I should pay special attention to. Thanks :).

It was the first song I heard on a pair of open backs (HD 598) so itās kind of a ritual for me now. Any time I get a new pair of headphones, thatās what Iāll listen to. That whole album is gray too.

Check out Yam Yam, Casiopea, Steely Dan, Greg Lake, Plini, Animals as Leaders (their two latest albums Parrhesia and Madness of Many), and T.R.A.M. (unfortunately taken off spotify), AB's, First Impression (their What's New album from 1995 is really great), Platinum 900, and Kirinji (Rainy Runaway is a personal favorite song from him).

Tash Sultana - Big Smoke is a great one to listen to on Sundara. The Sundaraās airy presentation works so well on that song.

Very nice, the K7 is a great little unit also. How do you find the pairing? Do you use high or low gain and have you noticed much of a difference between the 6mm single ended vs the balanced 4.4mm connection?
Also considering getting a Sundara.

I think the best part about the Sundaras are the perfect sparkly treble(for my tastes) and great timbre/tonality. It genuinely is great for most genres but i enjoy airy vocals with crisp acoustics and especially hi hats, so mostly RnB

Alice in Chains S.A.P. is a good one. I haven't seen it on a service yet, but "The Cure Deluxe Album has a second cd that is all acoustic studio tracks. Same songs as the 1st cd, just acoustic. If ya like the cure.

one of the first albums I go to when getting new audio gear is "from voodoo to Zen" by Tides from Nebula . It's not perfectly mixed but it has a lot of moving elements and panning stuff going on which is super fun on good headphones.
Also Plini's "Impulsive Voices". Lots of stuff going on. Super dynamic songwriting with tons of little intricacies to discover. one of the best Productions in recent memory,too.
