I noticed that headphones reflects on you'r mood? who else felt that?

Well, i broked my "good" headphones. that i used for my PC 8 years in a raw. its was some logitech G933. i was still a tennager back then, so now i understand that its garbage marketing tactic to call everything "gaming" and x2 price tag it. i mean compared to mine now they was really good sounding with no doubt!

Now im using as main driver for PC an in-ear chinese buds that gifted me 2-3 years ago on some event and was packed in small plastic bag, probably cost 1-2$. those pairs made me depressed i guess, and ruined my mood and my life for 2-3 months now.i didn't find time to buy normal headphones and didnt want spend money since it wasnt important for me and i thought i can get used to that horrible sound and be OK with it in music too.. when im turning music in my Car with my nice system that i setup there, im generally feeling better and enjoing in my soul. while im in front of my PC, works on something or watching youtube and listening to music. im depressed as drunk with those in-ear hurting bad sounding chinese shitty headphones that plugged to some usb cheap soundcard that made them loud asf on little-mid volume settings. is it correlate somehow? im pretty sure the headphones reflect on my life. i want to listen music and stopped do it for 3 months. only in my car sometimes.. with my old headset i could listen and even enjoyed.

this idea easily turning me to think about spend thousands dollars on headphones.. my ears are bleeding! lol, its easily to stop consume nicotine for me than getting used to chinese buds.

EDIT: ordered DT770, fuck yeah! Thanks a lot for any advice!

Yes! + The 58x is plugged into my a sound blaster z 600ohm powered sound card. The bass boost is insane. Games in 58x are crazy, music is nuts and they are pretty comfortable for long usage!! They are obviously open back, but they produce the best sound. I've tried a ton of headphones, but always go to the 58x. Best bang for the buck imho

Try getting a black friday deal on either of these:

Any Sennhseiser like: 58X, 6XX, 650, 660S, 600...

Or a Hifiman Sundara.

And get a Fiio K5 pro or the K7.

These pairs aren't going to cost thousands and you'll probably hear music in a different than you ever did.

I itching so hard to do the same here but I'm about to spend my holidays in another country, I'm really scared of spending any money right now but I'm dying to try a Sennheiser and an amp

I mean, losing something you enjoy is always going to make you sad. Then not enjoying your replacement headphones is only going to compound on that.

You don't need something crazy, just something decent and most importantly comfortable.

Reading this made my ears throw up. Get new headphones! Even a 58x with an apple dongle to your pc will be a 1000x improvement

Expensive as hell in my country, im able to get DT990 for almost 190$. the 58x is almost 250$+ after taxes.

The 5 series of sen cost here probably more than DT990 or 10$-15$ less. so what is better for the price? the HD599 cost more than DT990, which one is better for games and music for example? someone saying H599 someone saying DT990. the price is basically the same.

Even DT770 cost more than DT990 that i could find. so basically im screwed up with the prices and can't understand which one to pick.

So the best for the price i found is DT990 that only 250ohms. and i could later buy some cheap soundcard i guess for run it better..

Soundstage, image.. i guess DT990 is the better option here?

hahahah of course, i think even some "gaming" headset will solve the problem, but if i buy new headphone, i will not switch it untill it will broke and i will suffer or not enjoy the much i could enjoy with normal one's hehehe, but yeah, basically im on the most low-end level of sound headphones right now with unbranded chinese buds. im feeling proud of myself that i could hold like that for 2.5-3 months. tomorrow its the last day i guess :D
