For those rolling tubes with your amps, how do you store the extra inventory? Are they stored in their own oddly shaped boxes or is there some sort of rack that one can get? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Nothing special, just regular cardboard boxes for me. If the tubes came with their own cardboard packaging it makes it easier and neater to arrange, but I have accumulated loose tubes that are mixed in there as well.

I tend to wrap loose tubes or tube pairs in bubble wrap or paper and then put them either in ziplock bags with gaffing tape for labeling or in a small box and seal the bubble wrapped tube pair with a gaffing tape label.

Most tubes come in branded and labeled boxes already and you can also store them in there and stack em in another larger box, add some crumple loose paper or wrap the tubes in their boxes in bubble wrap if you want to extend the life of the original boxes. Store in a larger box. That's what I did anyway. I ended up settling on a really good end game for me pairing and haven't really tube rolled since, and I bought ALOT of tubes that I maybe shouldnt have for my Little Dot MK2... oops.

What tube amp are you currently tube rolling on?

Thanks for sharing! Yeah, right now my plans are for experimenting with tubes but I know that if I find one that I like I will stick to it.

I am giving a try for all PSVanes 6SN7 flavors, UK, GT, SE, etc.

Boxes, loosely in a drawer.. Ah heck why did I ever start with this lmao. I tested way too many 6SN7 variants and they all sound mostly the same.

One of my packages came with a piece of foam that has holes punched into it, so I just keep the tubes in there. Extra ones just stay in the boxes they came with.
