Submitted by Legendary_Tony t3_zyftei in headphones

Hello everyone! I've got the focal Bathys for Christmas, and I really love it but I really feel that I have issues with the fit, I feel like there is a lot of pressure at the top of my head, I don't know if anyone have this problem because I never got it even after trying multiple time in headphone shop ect... And do you think that I can get a replacement if my headphone does effectively have a fit issue ?

Thank you for your answer !

The head band on these is super uncomfortable. I had to move it every so offten to keep things good. I don't think exchanging them will help. The reason you didn't notice this in store is the time your using them is greater at home.

Many people will wrap them in a yarn covering for both comfort and extending the life of the fabric (which is a good idea because you can't really replace it)

Honestly I use them 2 to 5 hours a day and I don't find any fit issue. My head is average size.

When I was in a convention some people also said that I was lucky to not have a too big head for headphones, but I really feel sad to feel pain with it, they where so comfortable when I tried them, now I'm questioning if they where the best choice, because I really thought that they would be the most comfortable ANC headphone that I could get (even in musical performance is no match ofc) :(

I had a similar experience with the Focal Clear which seems to use the same design.

Couldn’t do more than 20 minutes or so before the hotspot right on the top of my head was just too uncomfortable.

Could look for something like the ZMF pilot pad people use to improve comfort.

Just picked these up and am experiencing something similar. It's not outright uncomfortable but there is definitely some pressure and I have to move or adjust a little bit every once in a while. This totally went unnoticed in the store.
