What’s the difference you noticed on Timeless, vs the dongle?

The low and high frequencies are suddenly very alive. All the details are there. It's very impressive. Same with my other cans, they just burst to life with the good amp on the phone. The soundstage is also way, way better.

I'm very happy about the purchase. I love the convenience of Bluetooth, but i wanted to use my few cans and headphones that I already liked. This is the best of both worlds for sure, and I'm pleased as heck. I was happy to hear such detailed base and soundstage the moment I started using it.

Ive mostly used a dongle for the past couple years, except with my speaker setup where I use UAD gear that's meant for mixing music, but I almost exclusively use that with my speakers. I like lounging on the couch or reading a book with headphones. Highly recommended to anyone who wants an affordable, powerful dac that also works Bluetooth!

It's fantastic, just after a long time of daily driving it it gets a bit weird to detect on windows. Might be me. BT works generally great. Sometimes Windows has issues with it.

It's robust af.

Yeah I have issues like that as well, maybe drivers are crashing and i have to unplug it and plug it back in a few times and then it usually works. Or sometimes when I'm switching between BT and USB the sound starts stuttering a bit and I have to restart it. But for the most part it works fine.

Man, I really wonder if I will need more than a Samsung dongle once my Hexas arrive. These FiiO things, owner of a K5 myself, are usually very awesome. The Qudelix is just as great and intriguing, but I don't know if all of this is necessary, aside from the convenience that Bluetooth would bring.

I like the USB mode and the microphone as well, and you can also use it as a Bluetooth receiver in the car or with normal powered speakers. If you only just want to listen to your phone, then a dongle is a much cheaper option.

Then a dongle will be enough for me I guess, but I wonder which one. The Samsung one is a little weak in power and doesn't get that loud imo

Is that not the normal price? I paid $110 in early 2021. Really cool device, I use it daily.
