Have other 5k owners had issues with quality control?

My first unit wouldn't charge without jiggling the USB connection, so I returned it because obviously the port is going to fail soon. The replacement unit also needs the cable to be jiggled, but it has less play in it. Also this unit doesn't play sounds every time it's powered on and needs rebooting to fix it.

Should I just keep returning them until I get a good one? Or are all of them poorly made?

It's a shame because the sound quality is great (for Bluetooth) and the DSP is actually excellent

No issues after a year of extensive use.

Same, but well over a year.

Actually I just looked at my Amazon order history. I got mine in September of 2020. So over 2 years.

Sorry to hear you're having issues!

Mine's been running solidly for a year. I thought I would use the equaliser a bit more but it turns out I like the stock sound of my headphones. Knowing this I kinda wish I'd got a different BT product with better button feel. But the Qudelix does the trick and has survived being dropped a LOT

Nope... Still kicking here after many clumsy moments from me... It's my greatest audio device I've bought... Not even the Softears RSV and the Kennerton I have match the price to performance ratio of this little beauty

I've had nothing but issues with the clip. One side of the clip broke about a month in (don't even know why, the housing for the clip rod just broke a chunk off). But that still let me use the clip for about a year though it was a bit wonky being one-sided. Then about a month ago the other half broke and the clip completely came out. I just ordered a repair kit ($30 from Qudelix directly) and am hoping that new one has a more reliable clip.

Mine's microphone went bad after ~3mnths. I'm not in USA, and weren't interested in helping me, so I just kept it. Nothing else though, ive been using it almost 2.5 years

Had mine for a month now, dropped it a couple times. No issues other than the USB YouTube music bug, goes to static every few min, but that's being fixed with the next firmware release. Current work around is to just use BT, which has worked flawlessly.
