Do these headphones (not the earbuds) have ANC or not? I'm talking about cancelling low/bass frequencies since higher frequencies are usually blocked passively.

About every other review says their Active Noise Cancelling is good, and the rest say it doesn't really even exist.

Even if the attenuation is measured, one review suggests it's better than in Sony WH-1000XM5, and another review shows that all noise under 200 Hz come through as "the low-end attenuation isn’t great compared to top competitors".

When the reviews give the feeling that you're getting scammed already before buying the product, it might be good for Sennheiser to give the datasheet about the topic or admit the product is so bad quality that only every other unit has a functional ANC.

If someone here has a pair of Momentum 3 (headphones, not the earbuds): If you hit the floor with your heel so that it makes low frequency noise (at around 30 Hz) does the ANC block that noise, compared to when ANC is turned off?

^(I asked the same thing in r/sennheiser but got downvoted, probably because me being pissed off about the conflicting information out there some Sennheiser fanboys got insulted.)

Im a senny fan, and I 6 even know this subreddot existed wtf??? But I think they had a firmware update that actually improved the ANC because when I first got them, it felt weaker. But I tried a friends xm4, and the anc is a noticable step up on the sonys. But the sound on the momentum is much better, def one of the better sounding bluetooth headphones.

The Momentum 4 has vastly improved ANC, if you don't really care about the more generic looks. The Momentum 3 can't really compete with Sony in terms of ANC, the Momentum 4 can although Sony is better. In terms of sound quality both Sennheiser headphones beat the XM4/XM5 respectively

Dhrme sometimes does reviews where they try to present the quality of the active noise cancellation. I don't know how effective that is on YouTube, but they might be able to help you out with data that is not merely taking their word for it.

As a general rule, I feel like most name brand, higher end TWS have passable active noise cancellation these days. It's always hard to rely on anecdotes because people get super partisan.
