2 pairs of defective HD560s. Suggestions?

Hi everyone, I just received a pair of HD560s, connected directly to my pc as: Headphones -> 6.3 to 3.5 Adapter (which comes within the headphones) -> Pc (I'm still waiting for my Schiit Fulla dac/amp)

First pair: At first I thought it was all fine but then decided to test them via frequency generators cause something felt wrong and I was right. In the range ~45-80Hz I hear a vibrations. A reddit guy was talking about untighten screws in the pads so I went to check them and found one screw was basically loose but couldn't tighten it cause it had no end (probably fucked up on the inside). I then proceeded to take a free substitution from Amazon (atm I still have both of them at my house so I was able to compare them).

Second: One screw had the same exact problem but this time there were less vibrations overall but still quite hearable.

Probable issue: One big thing I noticed: if I apply some pressure with my fingers/hands onto the external side of the pad (the grid where there is the Sennheiser logo), I am able to nullify the vibrations (100% on one side, maybe ~90% on the other) finally resulting in a clean sound.

Questions: Considering I don't have a spare pair of hands to keep pressing them onto my head I think I'll sent both of them back. Honestly quite disappointed in this. Is this problem caused by a lack of foam on the inside? Should I just try the luck and take the 3rd pair and hope they won't be defective too?

Bought them from official Sennheiser store on Amazon. (One would think they are the same being sold on their site but could just be a B stock considering they are 30€ cheaper on Amazon but no proofs about it, just doing some hypotesis)

I live in Italy so mine were probably coming from the european store but still, best of luck for yours.

I contacted Sennheiser directly from their website, so I'll update when they'll answer (even tho I don't think they will enlighten me on this problem)

Definitely! As many online online say, this is probably one of the best entry-level audiophile headphone you can find on the market, it's quality/price ratio is definitely golden otherwise I guess one need to get over the 300€ threshold to get something better. Depending on your taste you may feel lacking of low-bass (as you know caused by the open back design) but nothing one can't improve with some EQ, as for me I'm still enjoying the default sound without EQ. In my opinion, sounds seems to be very defined and clear (I listen to basically any genre). I can say they surely are a worthy pair of headphones. Didn't tested for gaming yet but they should be very good there too.

Disagree, the HD600 may have better build quality but the sound and comfort are better on the HD560s. Also they are HALF the price... Man, let me tell you, your answer makes no sense.. Why don't you then tell me to get a pair of 500€ HIFIMAN? They are just better..
