Stumbled upon this subreddit on accident and have been browsing for a of couple weeks. I’ve always been into audio whether it’s in the house or in the car. A few months ago I bought a scarlet solo and studio monitors/subs for my computer but never really gave much thought to my headphones. I had been switching between some Shure srh440s that I’ve had for a while or a pair of BT Sony wh-ch700n. Saw the DT 770s and fell in love with the design so I had to buy them. They’re finally here and can’t wait to dive into the audiophile world even more.

I already had the edition XS when I got my 770's, and while I still prefer the XS, I was pleasantly surprised by the DT770s. Really solid and fun closed back that are incredibly comfy; the insanely long cable's a bit annoying as they're my travel headphones but very happy with them. Enjoy!!

Love the build quality of these headphones. Plastic cups are really rigid, the leather headband feel quite premium and after a year of heavy use velour pads don't look worn at all. These are build to last. And I secretly love the 'shouty' sound signature.

I have headphones that sound better than these, but I don't need to treat dt770 like an egg. They are not going to break. Probobly ever (and if, they are designed with every part to be replaceable!!!). And that makes them my daily drivers for my PC.
