Hello there!

I love my 2Cs. Endgame for me. That being said, I have them hooked up to a Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen. Im trying to understand if this is a "bad" thing. I have the dial turned to about 11 o'clock and it's sometimes too loud for my taste - plenty of headroom.

Is this a "good" combo, read: transparent? Would a Motu M2 be "better"? Distortion, transparency, etc? Sorry for the quotation marks, I want to emphasize the subjective nature of it all.

Thank you and have a nice day!

Found this on ASR

"From the above graphs I see that the built-in headamp is able to deliver over 1V RMS with a good audio quality (THD+N of 0.004%)"

Looks transparent to me.

Ove watched that video but Im not 100% sure that Im interpreting it correctly. Can you provide some guidance on what to look for?

Edit: the 2Cs are 70 Ohms. So the solo should work okay with the Solo? He says that with 30 Ohm headphones theres audible distortion at higher listening levels.

So it should be okay with slightly higher Ohm Headphones and lower listening levels (10/11 oclock for me)
