I have found that Windows is really bad at contolling audio balance - it seems like if you are trying to compensate for a partial hearing loss, it's difficult to balance my headset for the good ear.

Anyway, I'm trying to find an external device, possibly similar to the MixAmp Pro TR, to balance my audio channels between the PC and a headset. Does anyone have suggestions, possibly for something not as complex as the MixAmp?

Have you tried Equalizer APO rather than built in windows balance to drop the volume in your ear with better hearing?
