Anyone know if it is possible to reshape the end of this coiled cable without damaging it? The way the coil ends at a 90 degree angle is a bit annoying. Would like to reshape it to continue out straight.

Any thoughts on how to do this? I assume it's the rubber giving it the shape and not the wire?
