Edit: Looks like it’s at MSRP now :(

Have been watching for the IE 200 to hit Amazon because I have credits there and today I see they're listed for $163 CAD despite the MSRP being $199 CAD and they're shipped and sold by Amazon so it's legit. After tax this is around $40 less than it should be at MSRP w/tax (~$182 vs ~$222) depending on your province and taxes (I'm in BC).

I noticed on CamelCamelCamel that the IE 600 were sold under MSRP for the first while on Amazon too (wish I knew about it back them :P) so this may not be a mistake. Either way I ordered a pair of the IE 200. Worst case it's a mistake and they cancel the order, best case I get a killer deal!

Pretty stoked on this. I had a bunch of Amazon promo credits because they kept messing up my Hexa order and on top of that sent me the Zero by mistake so my price was dropped to $115 total which I paid with a gift card from Christmas. Free IE 200 and should be here Monday, can't wait!

Edit: Love how a post sharing a deal on a brand new, anticipated product is getting downvotes. Brand new products almost never get discounted at launch. Tough crowd.

I keep wanting to make a trip down to Van to Headphone Bar to try out some TOTL cans but am mostly stuck with Amazon. Great for returns but not so much selection.

Oh you definitely should, they just restocked recently. I dropped by last week to try the new ATH-TWX9 and some audeze cans (MM-500, LCD-X). Awesome place, great owner.

Cool to hear. My wife and I are hoping to do a getaway trip to Vancouver in the spring or early summer this will be a big focus for me :)

If you don't mind driving, there is another place in North Van called Hi-fi headphones. They have limited demo stocks (Beyer, Audeze and Abyss) but it's also worth taking a look.

Thanks. Just saw them on google when I was trying to find the name of Headphone Bar. Will definitely check them out too. I like to make the trips there as worthwhile as possible since it's about a 3.5 hr drive and we only get down there once a year or so. I plan to buy an "end game" headphone at some point but so far haven't heard anything past my 6XX and am very curious to see where the diminishing returns kick in for myself.

Same situation. I'm only an hour out of Vancouver, but I never go into the city, but I want to go to the headphone bar eventually
