I never understood why you'd use Bluetooth for gaming.

I mean, you are sitting perfectly still at one spot, which is the perfect condition for a wired connection.

For non competitive and console games its really convenient. You don't have to deal with cables just go out in the headset then come back and it auto connects.

I don't see the convenience factor of having to keep my device charged and replacing it, once the battery has degraded. Very convenient for the manufacturer tho, as planned obsolescence (i.e. non replaceable batteries) keeps their business afloat.

You just don't get it. Some cannot "afford" to have cables lying everywhere or have a bad placement where long cables would be a problem. I use my old bt earphone when gaming on the big tv so i don't have a 5+m aux cable running from my room to the couch.
