KOSS said I could send them back to them, but guess what, it's much much more expensive for me to do that, than to buy another pair from Amazon.

unless I find a way to fix this myself (or meet someone that can), this is a F for me.

Yeah, that cable just needs desoldered, twisted, then soldered back and it should be good

well that sounds easily enough, I'll see if I can find someone to do the job for me for cheap, but that's another problem on it's on.

once fixed, how do you think I can prevent this from happening again?

It probably came like that so it shouldn't happen again if it's resoldered the correct way

I saw some videos were people fill that cavity with super glue or something like that's i thought they did that so they prevent the cables from snapping
