While issues with Windows drivers have come and gone, the power LED is dead, and intro chifi has moved on, I've never felt the need to upgrade. It can power any sub 100 ohm reference no problems off a single USB 2.0 port. Simply plug and play clean sound. Best $70 I've ever spent. Anyone else still rocking one?

Bought one back when I was in high school for my first fidelity set up. I think I was around 16 at the time, and I am turning 26 this year so my 810 K has 10 years under his belt I gave it to my brother, and he has been using it ever cents, but it still works like a charm

Very nice bro. I have xonar essence stx soundcard, 12 years old at this point. If it breaks, probably also gonna go with Fiio. They've been doing the engineering thing way before people even cared about it.

No, but my E12 Mont Blanc is still kicking after 7 years. That and an X3ii was my original rig. I needed something that would drive full size cans on the road. It easily plays crazy loud without distortion. I think the gain switch is intentionally difficult to operate so you don’t accidentally deafen yourself.

It’s a beautiful workhorse milled from a block of aluminum, features Texas Instruments op amps, and an ALPS potentiometer with a satisfying feel. It’s a special bit of gear to me, and I don’t see myself ever parting with it.

I had one of these and it had a weird issue where it would lock up and the LED would flash red. Pressing the reset button would fix it but only temporarily
