Yes, that can be a bit annoying, you can check out iBasso DC03PRO for a dongle with no cables attached

I’m not sure that Moondrop are “a known entry level iem producer” they have models at pretty much every price point under $1k

I even reviewed an IEM , the Illumination that's pretty high-end, but I personally cvonsider it to be an entry-level company, because that's where they sell the most

But they sell mostly hamborgars - so they are a fast food restaurant. Same for Moondrop, they sell mostly Chifi entry-level products, so they're mostly an entry-level focused company who makes one or two pricier products, which is why I'd say they're moslty an entry-level focused company.
