Campfire Audio misleading public about Trifecta availability?

Supposedly there are only 333 of these in existence, yet somehow they are still in stock from multiple vendors (including CA themselves) months out from launch AND an even earlier preorder period. I get that the trifecta is expensive and not particularly impressive acoustically, but this is the IEM market we're talking about here, where many people easily own tens of thousands of dollars worth of IEMs, cables, DACs and other equipment. Not to mention the novel appearance and driver configuration seems like just the type of thing that would appeal to collectors and enthusiasts.

Surely I can't be the only one that finds this situation just a bit fishy?

Not hard to believe that campfire audio doesn't sell over a million dollars worth of a luxury iem in months.

Their Andromeda and solaris are great, Ara is very technical for the price, the rest are very niche though.

They’re expensive, I haven’t seen many reviews yet, and the general consensus seems to have swayed quite heavily on Campfire over the last few years.

I’m not really surprised people aren’t jumping on them with so much competition now.

They're in stock partly because they are incredibly expensive and there is no coverage on their sound quality. I wouldn't buy a headphone if it didn't sound good to me. Doesn't matter how gimmicky the design is.

I tried them at a local audio store for about an hour and the tuning is not for me. I love bass but the trifecta had too much.
