K371: Very balanced and neutral sound, can get sibilent but doesn't become harsh, vocals come through quite naturally and bass is well defined with sufficient texture this makes for an enjoyable presentation lower down however its not the most impactful. Imaging is there but it's not the most accurate, the same can't be said for the soundstage which is non existent and any width stops at the baffle.

Detail is pretty poor but the tonality somewhat compensates for this shortfall.

For comfort I thought it was very good, the pads are super plump and the rubbery headband is super unobtrusive on the top of my head.

I could not find a seal with them. No matter what i tried, i felt no bass at all.

Maybe because i use glasses and have a big head.

The only thing that stopping me from buy them is the construction. Looks horrible bad made. In any case, I still don't know whether to buy these or the 770 from Beyer

Maybe check out the Koss Pro4S too. Apparently a "slightly cooler K371/361". I've got a set and they're brilliant imo. Very slightly less bass than the AKGs but slightly more highs and detail

The Peo4S is like a cheap HD 820. Very different compared to the K371.

Ah okay. I’ve never heard the AKGs, the comparison was from a review I read

Would you say the Pro4S are good then? I haven’t tried many pricier sets so they seem really good to me

I'm not a fan of the Pro4S. Pads are too shallow and the huge dip at 250 Hz is just way too big for me. For the price, there are much better alternatives.

Here is the FR for the Pro4S:

Yeah the pads are very shallow. I got them from Amazon Warehouse for £70 so thought I’d give them a try, I really like them but like I said, I don’t have much experience. Only other two sets I’ve used were the X2HR and ATH MSR7B

Thanks for the links, I’ll check them out later

have them now for over a year and a half and never had any issues whatsoever. Very sturdy and well put together.

Can get sibilant?lol what? It has the safest treble of all the headphones I have heard. Upper might be bothersome to some though

Great pair of headphones. What I like is how responsive to EQ it is. If I want bass it gives me bass, If I want highs it gives me highs.

I had to put new pads on them. My big ol ears were being mangled. Deeper pads made these my favorite “cheap” pair of headphones

I prefer the K553 MKII, if this is supposed to be it's successor it flopped big time. I also heard the K361 and prefer it a lot to this
