Best Comprehensive Single Volume History of Spain (in English)?

I was hoping to find an overview history of Spain. There are a lot of them, and I'm not sure which one to read.
I saw quite a few in my search:

The History of Spain by Peter Pierson
Spain A Unique History by Stanley G. Payne
A Concise History of Spain by Phillips

Any thoughts or recommendations?
