Personally if you’re willing to get a regular 14 just get a 13 for cheaper.

Besides size and battery life the 14 Pro and Pro Max have the same overall specs and cameras.

That’s odd. What are you using? Constant high brightness, AOD, constant camera use can hit the battery hard. I’m a heavy user and this phone easily lasts me all day, best battery life I’ve had on a phone and I get as much as two days with moderate use.

I actually turned off AOD along with other features. I’ve only used the camera maybe 3 times (I’m not a big camera person and don’t take pictures at all)

Went to work with 100% battery and left with 70%

Thing is, I barely used my phone because I was at work. Occasional messages, checked emails, a few phone calls and that was about it. I used it for basic stuff and I lost 30% within a 8 hour shift.

Just throwing my 2 cents in. The pro is a the way to go. It’s size isn’t outlandish and you get the same specs and camera

That's why I got the Max. It's ridiculously good. Especially coming from an 11 Pro with 74% battery health, I usually couldn't make it through the day without charging a bit. With pretty heavy use, my 14 Max is right around 50% at the end of the day.

Correct they are not like the 12pro and max. With different cameras. 14 pm and pro are identical in cameras.

So, slight differences in 2 of the cameras, it seems.

Unless you need the battery life as a heavy user, the pro will be more than enough as your daily driver. Portability and usability are two things people don’t think about too much when they’re buying a shiny, new toy. Whatever you choose though, ignore the haters and know you are getting a great device that will serve you for many years. Enjoy!
