Hi so i just recently got an Iphone 14 promax last january and it is my very first iphone (coming from a samsung s series). So last week I kind of dropped my phone 12 inches or 30cm high with some $10 dollar silicone casing and screen protector on a tile and I’m kind of worried if my phone has some internal issues and it wont last long. I am kind of a paranoid person but yeah, i need your opinions. Will a single drop be okay?

It's fine, if it's working then don't worry about it.

iPhones can take a pretty hard knock, but it's also down to luck. Sometimes it just takes an awkward short drop and broken. Other times, it goes down a flight of stairs and is perfectly fine. Again though if it's working, just relax and don't worry about it.

Your likely fine. Apple tests phones for durability from drops even if the external parts are damaged internally it’s quite durable.

At least you had a case (even though not the best) on your phone.

There are idiots out there who spend $1,000+ on their phones, never put a case on it, and it gets ruined after they drop it.
