My choice is simple but not going to be one I share with many likely -

I’d love to try out an iPhone in the shape and design of the iPhone 5C, possibly made of a metal instead, whilst having a display similar to the 13 mini (no Touch ID and borders). I was thinking of choosing a specific IOS version as well, but I couldn’t think of one in specific I’d go with. What about you guys?

(If this is a question many have asked, feel free to let me know and I’ll take down this post)

An iPhone Mini Pro. Although to be actually doable it would probably require the 5.7 inch iPhone 11 Pro size and footprint. Non of the iOS versions have been hugely different enough for me to pick a favorite.

iPhone 14 Pro but the size of the 12/13 mini, and a decent battery (would be very difficult due to overheating and, well, physics, but I can dream)

Agreed 100%. I also have a 14 Pro and it’s a near-perfect phone for me. However, my wife has a 12 mini and I’ve found myself preferring the size of that over my 14 Pro.

I know my idea sounds weird.. but I would love if Apple remade the sidekick lx lol.. their implementation would be godly.

A SE plus. I want the 8+ design with modern internals.

I was actually thinking about 5c and how many fancy colours and low cost it was while I went for a walk yesterday, easy to hold and lightweight. Those were the days when they experimented with budget iphones.

A 6.2 inch screen, dynamic island BUT pushed a bit up so it is not as intrusive as it is. iPhone 13 pro design (including camera bump, 14 pros is just too big). Touch ID in the power button would be nice as well, and of course, USB-C.

Oh man, what I wouldn't do for a phone like that.

Before apple announced the Dynamic Island, I wouldve probably said an inscreen camera that had amazing quality, but the Dynamic Island actually has life, it integrates iOS with the screen/hardware and it looks amazing, so I wouldnt say inscreen camera anymore. But take that with a pinch of salt, because I use an 8 Plus.

Yeah, I really like what they've done with it software-wise, it looks really cool and adds some functionality. I just wish it didn't sit so low in the screen, as it ends up digging into content noticeably more than the notch.

Of course having the camera and the face id sensors under the display would be the dream lol, but looks like the technology isn't there quite yet. The few phones that have released with inscreen cameras all look blurry.

a 5c made of metal is the 5s or SE gen 1. I had both a 5c and a SE1. SE1 was very good in 2016 when it came out but by 2017 felt way too small for ''modern'' content. with full screen doesn't seem like it would that much of an improvement?

a model line i'd like to see is an extended run-time line, maybe called ''marathon''. so you'd have 14pro and a 14pro ''marathon''. it'd be 2x thick with min 6000 mah capacity. i think people would really go for it. a 13 mini but 3x thick with 8000mah would work for me!

I think the 13 mini is THE perfect phone, love the form factor, could be better with better battery life, and a slightly larger display.

Nowdays people are saying that we want phones to be bigger. But this comment section is the complete opposite, and I'm all for it.

Personally, keep the same general design as the 14 pro max, but make it a bit bigger. 7”-7.2” display, thinner bezels and and under display camera and Face ID system. Under display Touch ID and 80w fast charging. Reverse wireless charging that can charge the watch (like Samsung) usb c charging and make the MagSafe magnets twice as strong.

You're coming dangerously close to a tablet screen size. Lol

I had a Nexus 7 that was .2 inches bigger screen size than my S22U, and less than a quarter of the pixels. That's just the world we live in now.

I had in mind the Dell Streak 7, but it's pretty much the same size as the Nexus 7.

Yupp. I'll proudly admit that I'm a big screen freak though, my monitor at home is 43" and I came from dual 30" Apple Cinema Displays, so it's in my blood.

Don't mind such big screens for myself as well hehe, but on phones it's a little bit of a different story. My hands get tired if I hold my phone for too long 😅

Wish it had a notif. led tho.

I misunderstood this and thought you meant like a traditional Tracfone. I mean, a foldable iPhone would be neat.
