I like reading the comments that go “A PHONE IS NOT AN INVESTMENT IT’S A TOOL SO I DON’T CARE IF IT GETS SCRATCHES OR BREAKS!” C’mon guy, it’s just for peace of mind and to avoid having to spend more unnecessary money

That's how I always looked at it. If a few bucks now saves me a lot of bucks later and won't negatively affect my use or experience, why not?
