Bought a 12 mini brand new in December. Stupid thing was being dumb charging and showing that it was too hot charging or some crap after 16.3 iOS update. Got rid of it thinking it was the phone… got a 13 mini and now after 2 weeks of having in and updating iOS to 16.3.1 it’s being dumb too. Keeps going to SOS with a physical sim in city where there’s service and now that charging heat thing. I have troubleshooted the sos thing by resetting network settings, restarting device, turning airplane mode on and off and even taking SIM card in and out. Idk what to do that this point. I’ve dropped over $1000 in damn phones in 2 months. Help…

Have you tried ‘reset network settings’? That has fixed connection issues for me in the past. Not sure about charging. Have you tried different chargers / cables?

Yes. And took out sim, airplane mode, restarted device etc

I also have a 12 mini and it shows the same issues your does. Just wish I could go back to iOS 15.7.

iOS 15.6 is still being signed, from which you can update to 15.7.

That’s nice! Can the downgrade process cause some kind of error, such as data loss?
Entertainnosis t1_j8p2z46 wrote
Yes, the phone has to be fully wiped and setup from scratch.
There are unofficial workarounds to get iOS 16 backups to restore onto 15 but it’s impossible to guarantee that it’d work.
