Apple and all the phone manufacturers have been over sharpening, contrast boosting and noise reducing for years. I just wish I could turn off all processing but keep saving as HEIC (or JPG). RAW is just too unwieldy to work with.

You can use a shortcut to convert the ProRaw files to HEIC.

Use Halide instead of the regular app, I’ve had much better results. Just make sure you toggle on pro+ and then when looking at the photos click DNG instead of HEIC

I have no idea what I’m doing but I know that it’s working!
