It’s from when it charged to 100% and it stopped charging because it didn’t need to anymore. During that time the phone worked on the wire charger but not the battery.

Oh so it actually starts using the electric out of the wall instead of the battery

To me that doesn’t make sense because, the horizontal line below shows that it was still charging during the blank space. So if it was still charging it would have maintained 100% which should be represented by a vertical line that goes all the way to the top. It shouldn’t be blank. Personally it’s either a bug or the device was powered off but remained on charge

The line with the bolt represents the time the phone was on the charger. The phones try to extend their battery life by not overcharging. Overcharging makes batteries degrade faster. This is also why phones have the option to only charge up to about 80% during times you’re less likely to need it. For example, if you normally get up at 8 AM the phone will wait till about 6 or so to charge past 80%. This is because it takes more energy to bring the phone up to 100% during those last 20%.

If the phone is at 100%, then it no longer needs to charge the battery and can simply use the electricity from the charger to do its functions.

The blank usually means your phone was off and the green means charging. So maybe your phone was off while charging?

Optimized charging Also don’t let your phone go below 20%, it will kill your battery pretty quick

What phone? 13 pro? Saw this once a week with that phone starting at the end of iOS 15 and through the betas. Haven't seen it on my 14 pro.

Don't worry my iPhone 14 pro friend, your time will come sooner than you think :)

That's an intense daily discharge if it goes to near zero charge over 11 hours of use. Is that 10am to 3:15pm as screen-on then 4:30 to 8:30 as more screen-on?

I assume the blank area is powered off or on wired power.

The app developer should be able to tell you what their presentation means. Otherwise you only get supposition.

I thought this was Optimized Battery Charging. but your phone went straight to 100%. It could be still learning from your charging routine.
