It’s just a charging cable, not exactly going to change your daily life. The bonus is not needing to carry around more than one cable. Hopefully fast charging speeds as well but certainly not a give.

Periscope zoom lens, thinner bezels, maybe reverse wireless charging, 3nm chip, titanium design, improved LiDAR, double base storage 256GB to and what I’ve seen so far

I think periscope lens could be the only game changer based on what we have I agree. For most people you’re right smartphones are tough to justify on a yearly basics

safe? reverse wireless charging isn't new tech. Zoom is game changing for iphone. rest of the tech world? no as it's been out since 2019
