I know this is probably a longshot, but is anyone aware of a USB-C to lightning cable that is charge only? I'd like to be able to charge my personal iPhone off of my work MacBook but I do not want them sharing data.

Alternately, is there a way to permanently choose "don't trust" when I connect them?

You could add a USB-C data blocker like the PortaPow to your current USB-C > Lightning cable.

I believe if you hit don’t trust in finder on the Mac as well as don’t trust on the phone it sticks

In finder there's no don't trust option. This is with my phone connected and after I hit don't trust on the phone.

Yes but it's usually plugged in. It's just more convenient than using a separate brick for my phone. I frequently charge my watch, pods, and phone off my personal Mac, this was just an issue because I want to charge on my work Mac without linking data. The blocker should be perfect.
