Many of you Apple obsessed people may already be crying because of the title, and I can clearly see why. This phone is mostly known for having bad battery life, other than having an old and dated design. I’d like to share what I think of this much hated phone, and hopefully prove most of the people wrong.

Firstly taking a look at the specs, we have an A13 processor. Not the best one on the market, but still quite powerful in my opinion. Works flawlessly on the latest iOS version, and will support almost 3 more years of updates, so it’s still future-proof. The camera obviously isn’t the best quality, a single 12MP on the back and 7MP on the front, but for my personal use (which is taking shitty photos of my cats and friends) it’s great.

Now, for the very-much talked about battery. I’m going to say that it’s not the best comparing it to other phones, standing at only 1800mAh circa, but it’s definitely not as trash as people say it is. I’ve heard people say that it’d give me a maximum of 3 hours of SoT, even if I only used it for iMessage and such basic features, and holy, how were they all wrong. As a student, working from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., I can say that it’s more than good enough, only having to charge it once a day. Mind you not, this phone has 84% battery health, bought it refurbished, and I’ve been consistently getting 8 hours (or more) of Screen on Time everyday, mostly just using social media and streaming movies/music.

So… is the 2020 iPhone SE as terrible as Apple fanboys say it is? I’m willingly going to provide screenshots or such to prove their opinion wrong.

I actually like this phone as well. Like the size, I later upgraded to a 13 mini and like it just as much.

I just bought the SE 3 128GB because it was on sale. On our country the regular price is $500 above for 128gb but I bought it for $355 only. it arrived yesterday and I already charged it twice since then. I’m working from home, I have an ipad and an android phone, I constantly switch using the 3 and yet I can’t make this phone last longer. Coming from regular iPhone 13 and 13 pro max, camera is not that good but it’s okay quality is still good for social media posts. I change phone at least 2x a year to try phones anyway (I buy and then I sell it if I don’t want it anymore)

Yes. I like how small it is and the for the price I’m satisfied. In the Philippines, iPhone XR is so famous, I don’t know why 🫣 I was about to buy it to try and know the reason for why it’s always trending on tiktok and guess what it’s even more expensive than se 3. I settled for the SE 3 for the software support, smart HDR and deep fusion.

I got my dad one, he was still on his 5s. $200 refurbished with a new battery. Best budget deal for an iPhone if you ask me, and the A13 outclasses the SoCs you get in Androids at this price point (but they have better battery and screen in return).
