The phone number in the screenshot is some lowlife spam company.

It seems like if a call comes with some form of called ID (in this case, "WIRELESS CALLER"), then you can copy that name, but you can't select and copy the phone number. Am I missing an easy way to do this? The only way I see how is that I first have to save it as a contact and then open the contact details and copy the number from there

Long press on the number May yield the option to copy. It does for me.

This only works for me if there is no caller ID name associated with the call. In this case, the number appears much larger, in the same location that you see "WIRELESS CALLER" in the screenshot. In the case of my screenshot, I can long press on "WIRELESS CALLER" and copy that text, but I can't copy the phone number. Are you seeing the same thing?

Hit create new contact, then you will be able to copy the number and cancel creating the contact …

It's super annoying. Screenshot option works and "fake" creating a new contact too.

I migrated to an iPhone with the launch on the 12 mini.

Love everything about it except using it as a phone.

I am able to copy the text after saving your image. Are you also able to click the same place I did in the contact and copy the number? I did a long press.

Copy text from screen shot

In history list, press i on right and the above pic you posted shows up..

Then press and hold on the phone number and menu with copy (the number it is) will show up..

And by the way.. the number you posted seems to go to James D Dietter, ~36y from 9 Overlook Dr in Danbury and working at Realtor.com..

Ideally you should be able to long press on the number to copy. Worst case: Take a screenshot and then copy it from the text.

We’ll I have no business with him, so he's a spammer.

BTW, your solution doesn't work. Your method would work if there was no caller ID info present. (In this case, the caller ID identifies the caller as "WIRELESS CALLER ")
