the only differences you’d notice would be that the 8+ gains wireless charging and fast charging over a usb c to lightning cable like all current iPhones do

personally i wouldn’t do it because the 8+ may or may not get iOS 17 this year. but even if it does, it will definitely be its last ios update. i’d rather get a newer phone. it doesn’t have the be the latest & greatest but just something that’s in the middle to last long enough
