I’m updating my phone and I want to know if anyone has had any issues with their phone after updating it such as phone being slow/glitchy and battery draining? Let me know

edit: When downloading the update did anyone’s battery drain? Will this draining go away? Let me know

I noticed that system services access my location each time I switch apps. That’s all I can say about this update. Need to give it some time.

Yes. I updated this morning. I watched a video earlier today on safari. I have closed the internet and locked the phone but the audio keeps playing. I’m about to restart my phone and I hope it solves this problem I’m facing?

I had a bug where I couldn’t click on the notifications from the lock screen to open them (messages or anything else). It went away after a restart.

Huge battery drain (80% down in 3h). Never seen anything like that ever. Phone was quite warm. Rebooting didn’t make a difference. Kept using the phone in battery saving mode until I had access to a charger and now after charging things are back to normal.

I was trying to update my AW too right before I left the house this morning and had to leave at the verification step. I wonder if there was some process related to that that was hanging and caused the battery drain. Also, I was sitting in a bus in a sunny environment (south Vietnam) so screen brightness might have been dimed and could have played a role.

Tested out the voice isolation by standing next to running faucet. Caller couldn’t hear anything at all with voice isolation turned on. Worked great.

I use Windows iTunes to sync podcasts to my iPhone. After updating to 16.4, I am finding the sync works (it completes), but then my iPhone begins to delete all of the synced podcast when I open the podcast app on the iPhone, which really Sucks!. It seems to be specially true if you check the Automatically include... checkbox on the Sync Podcasts window of iTunes.

Iphone 13 pro max here.. There is a lag in search every time when i launch it, meaning a little bit of delay for keyboard to launch. Tried it on my wife's Iphone 13 too and i see the same behavior. I know this isnt a big deal of a bug, but its a little annoying from user experience standpoint to deal with that lag..

2G/3G options were removed for my sim1(LTE was selected before update) but 2G option is still there for sim2(2G was selected before update) and I am afraid to choose LTE for sim2 in case 2G/3G will be removed for sim2 too(
iphones with ios <=16.3 does still support 2g/3g on both sim slots

P.S. Do not ask me why I still need 2g/3g or why volte is disabled

Contacted my Carrier and was told that they can't do anything and advised to contact Apple
