I have an iphone 13 with a black case and i got bored of the black case and want to get a clear one, except for the yellowing part are clear cases protective enough to not worry about breaking my phone?

I never felt my phone has ever been less protected with a clear case, but yellowing has always been an annoying issue…

I wanted a clear case as well and got the Mous Clarity. I read that it's protective and I'm happy so far

Yes, a clear case is just as protective as any other case made of the same material. You can find clear cases in a wide range of materials and styles so some of them will be better than others.

I have a clear Otterbox case so… yeah. You can get protective ones.

Yes they do yellow after a handful of months…but you’ll hardly notice because it’s so gradual .

Hard clear cases don’t turn yellow.

Clear cases like the Otterbox and even the Apple one are pretty protective. Yellowing is another story. I had a clear case on my 12 and it protected it from several drops
