2-3mm gap between phone and wireless charger — is that OK?

Just got a iPhone 14 Pro and the camera module is so large that it no longer sits flush against my Logitech wireless charging stand.

There is a 2-3mm gap between the charger and the phone body. But the phone still charges wirelessly.

I imagine the wireless charging will be slower?

Would having a gap between the phone and charger affect the battery in the long run because of additional heat?

Maybe makes it charge a little bit slower cause the efficiency goes down.

But people hide qi chargers under thin wood and it still works

It's fine. Apple's own MagSafe Duo Charger which they also list as compatible with the iPhone 14 Pro also causes a gap between the charger and the phone due to the larger camera bumps on the new phone.

Can you just turn the phone sideways to eliminate the large gap?

It doesn’t charge when sideways. The camera bump gets in the way. :’)
