I got the 14pro Max about a month ago and finally started using it. I actually hate how big this phone is (coming from an 11 pro) and I’m past the return period. It’s too big for my hand and just uncomfortable. Any suggestions to make the phone easier to carry/hold?

Have you looked into getting a grip? Popsocket and rhinoshield have MagSafe ones.

There are covers with a “pop” a ring or a special holder on the back that you might try. Search Amazon or any other site that sells covers.

I did the opposite. I got a 14 pro and have returned it cause it was too small

Get a case with a ring holder. They aren't pretty but they make the phone easier to handle

Or get one with magsafe. Then you can attach a popsocket or a magnet ring from Spigen. I'm a bit paranoid so I don't trust having a magnet next to me at all times but everybody else seems to not care.

I don’t blame her haha! I’ve bought nice tech stuff before and put it away until I actually open it/use it. Does it make sense? No. We wait for a product so long and to wait even sometimes more than a month (in my case) to open it? Yeah I’m that weirdo too haha!

You stand correct, I do make sure its the model I want thank goodness. I will go see whatever I want, hold it, try it until I’m 100% sure it’s the one I want. Then again, when I have 14 days to return something, I do need to get better at busting it open.

If you’re going to trade for a 14Pro, it might be worth going to an Apple Store and seeing if they’re willing to still make the switch. Sometimes they’ll make it happen for someone who honestly wants a new phone but messed up and got one that’s too big

The phone got delivered while I was out of the country. I played with it in store and felt it was fine. Using it daily/long term is when I noticed how heavy it truly is

I wasn’t home to play with it as I was traveling overseas. I did have a chance to mess with it in store and actually liked it. Using it on the daily is when I noticed how truly heavy and annoying it is for my hand

Never hurts to try I really recommend to act and be a Karen about it honestly. I have to force myself to do so because employees sometimes are just mean and lazy to not help you and just say “I can’t do anything for you” then I go to the next store and I get “sure we can easily do that” smh edit: obviously be nice about it first but then act like a Karen

Definitely consider changing to the 14 Pro. I got an 11 Pro Max because having a bigger screen size just seemed better but regretted it everyday because I couldn't use it with one hand. I traded it for an 11 pro within a few weeks. And honestly, the Pro screen size is very decent, I don't think you will miss the slightly bigger screen on the Pro Max anyways.

Hopefully you find away to make it right for yourself

I’m curious thou, what are your daily uses with your iPhone if it’s calls and text and a few web searches then the Max isn’t gonna work for you but if your like me that swore I wouldn’t get a max but found that video editing and Rich graphic games are so much better on the Max.

I bought a genuine leather hip holster to carry such a wonderful Brick around when I’m not using it
