The photo in the restaurant looks over exposed. But other than that I don’t think I see the issue… maybe someone with a better eye can help.

They really turned the dial upto 11 after the 12pros. Not for the better either. Most people seem to prefer the overly bright pics sadly so it’s the way they will continue.

It’s that weird auto post processing after the snap ! Though apple calls this the photonic engine !! Yuck suffering the same with Iphone 14 pro max ..

I was horrified to see the ugly shit this photonic engine does in photos, coming from an iPhone 11 to a 14 pro max. Thankfully there are some good third party camera apps out there

Try cleaning your camera lens. Is there any sort of lens protector on the camera lenses?

The iPhone is always overexposing, it has priority for face and shadows. When making a photo tap on the light object (sky for example), so it will correct the exposure and you can always pull out shadows in post. You can also use profiles (rich contrast) to counter that behavior a little.

Fun fact: it is basically impossible to get an overexposed photo shooting auto on pixel 6 and 7.
