Get a 12 pro or pro max for good price, go get the battery replaced, you’re golden. Has so many of the same features as the top phones at fraction of the cost

For very superstitious reasons, I'm leaning towards the 12 more than the 13 hahahaha that's a ME problem though πŸ˜…

well it's a couple of years old by now so a new battery will refresh it back to brand new condition (assuming you get a good quality used which looks cosmetically good and has no problems). This would be the best value purchase IMHO - to be honest my old iphone XR at health 82% was still usable, just had to charge it more frequently.

Besides the telephoto camera what other useful features does it actually have? (Over something like an iPhone 13)
