I have not looked into the 14 as much as the 13, but am curious if the best move would be to the 13. I know the cameras are solid and from what I have read the 14 is having software issues? The terabyte 14 pro max is appealing - can anyone chime and and give some feedback on the "buggy" potential of the 14?

I went from the 12PM to the 14PM and am not having any s/w issues with it. I'm really happy with the upgrade.

I went to the 12 PM to the 14PM and honestly, I haven’t really noticed much improvement. I mean the camera’s slightly better, the display is smother and the dynamic island is nice but that’s about it. If it wasn’t for the $1,000 off iPhone 14 PM with T-Mobile, I would have stayed with my 12PM and been just as happy.

You got $1000 dollars off the new phone? What promo is this??

I switched from AT&T to T-Mobile a few weeks back and they were running a promo of 1k off. It’s really only $640 off bc they give you “fair market value” of $360 up front in bill credits, then the $640 is spread over your installment agreement.

At my dealer I got the 14pro for cheaper than I would have gotten the 13pro
Haven’t had much software issue. Phone runs hotter than my 12pro max tho

I gave my 13 Pro Max to my GF and got the 14 Pro Max and we are pretty lucky when it comes to the early iOS 16 bugs but the few we had effected both our devices

Software issues are overblown and by no means a good reason not to get the 14 models. But if you want to save a few dollars and don’t care about the hardware features nothing wrong with 13 Pro they are very close performance wise.
