The size should be a much bigger factor than storage. Go to a store and see which you like better, bear in mind the max is not just bigger but heavier and is really rather cumbersome for one handed use.

If you don’t ever plan on taking ProRes videos, I‘d say 128GB is ok. ProRes videos are huge and they actually only work in 4K if you’ve got 256GB or more, but they’re still huge in 1080p.
I’ve had my 13 Pro Max for a year. I take occasional pictures of my son, nature and so on, have quite a few apps and games (although not many big ones) and all the usual stuff, and I currently use 50GB.
One thing to note: I use Apple Music so I don’t have lots of music stored on the phone, just something like 10 playlists stored for offline listening. If you want to store lots of music locally and/or many big games like Call of Duty Mobile, I guess 128GB could be a problem.

Do you need the 256GB of storage? If not stick with the size you are used to, the 14 Pro Max is a great phone and battery life is very impressive.

I just swapped from 14 Pro 256 to Pro Max 128. I use iCloud and I just wasn’t using that much storage.

Yeah it definitely depends on how much storage you use! I got the 14 PM 128gb and it’s more than enough for me. I’m so glad I did bc I love the PM and don’t think I can go back down to the regular size.

I personally would go with an iPhone 14 pro 128GB, it’s been perfect for me but just go with what you want!

If you‘re already spending more than $1000 for a phone, I‘m sure you can afford the big phone with the big storage if that’s what you actually want.
