This comment needs to be higher! I just learned about the hard reset key combo yesterday. Worked for my sister's iphone, just press and hold power doesn't do anything on iphone.

That’s what he said lol. And yes hard reset works well, apple suggest trying it before going into them. It’s on there website. It usually fixes issues… I do it once a week just to make sure everything is working.
