So my gf recently started an Etsy shop and since her Samsung does horrible photos she needs an iPhone with a decent camera for good looking product photos. She's not looking for a new one, more like iphone X/11. What's the sweet spot in terms of camera for these older models?

Thanks!

Probably the best one you can afford! They are all the same megapixel count until the latest series and otherwise are incremental improvements on each other

For a sweetspot of price to photo she’d Probably be well off with a budget pixel since she’s already used to android.

If shes set on iPhone then look up some comparisons between the 11/12 and the current SE

The 11 especially since it has night mode on the main camera.

The 11 will be fine. Make sure her products are well lit. If these are relatively small items, look up how to make a DIY light box.

Definetly iPhone 11 its literally the best you can get For cheap, it has night mode and its a bugdet phone.

Like most people are saying here, an iPhone 11 would be your best bet iOS wise, but if you’re not dead set on an iPhone, I’d honestly probably recommend either a Pixel 6 (about the same price on swappa) or a pixel 5 for even less — the cameras on Pixels have always been their strong point (at least for stills) and they actually have double the base storage which would be nice to have.

Pixel 6a is $299 right now. Will likely take better photos than any older iPhone.

Just a tip but photos taken with the telephoto lens will probably look way better, it’s closer to what we see with our eyes
