Whatsapp camera not swiching between 1x and macro camera when getting close to an object

i've got an Iphone 14 pro.

On the camera app and on instagram it works perfectly and i also can go on ultra wide. For example if i go close to a barcode it will switch automatically switch to macro mode, both on insta and camera app.

but in whatsapp and other apps that needs to scan qr code or barcode, like discogs, they can't switch to macro camera.

and there isn't the ultra wide camera as well.

i already tried to enable the macro control button but nothing changes.

my phone has a problem or third party developers are still working for the code for switching cameras? cause for 1339 € that's not acceptable.

i dont think they will fix that, the 13 pro is over a year old and whatsapp doesn't use the macro mode

apple should have prepared a library for developers of other app to implement the switching as soon as they dropped
